be a good Slacker and scan through the .SlackBuilds to edit to your
liking as they do contain some things you may or may not want in 
your Slack pack.

ie. the mplayer build also includes the Orange Skin as the default
skin in the slack pack 

NOTE: All the Slackbuilds use --prefix=/usr
